Cast/Crew Call for 48HFP Yes We Cannes Global Competition

Four Richmond filmmaking teams (Fourth Floor Films, FRENCHY WATERS, Pure Artistry Productions, and The Underdog Team) have qualified and are registered to compete against the world 🌏 December 1-3 for the 48 Hour Film Project's Yes We Cannes Global Film Competition, and they're casting and crewing up!

This is an elite competition, as only the best in the world--teams that placed 1st, 2nd or 3rd in their respective cities--may participate. There are currently 73 global teams registered. The Top 15 films will screen at Filmapalooza in Lisbon, Portugal in March 2024! The Best 8 films will grace the big screen at the Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner!

ACTORS: Auditions are being held Saturday, November 18 from 2-4 p.m. at the Main Richmond Public Library, 101 E. Franklin St. Sign up HERE

Performance Anxiety Workshop

Camera shy? Stage fright? Fear of public speaking?

Do you have anxiety before an audition, performance or at networking events that keeps you from showing your best self? In this workshop, Laura Giles will show you how easy it is to let go of fears quickly and easily so you can show your audience the best version of yourself every time. Bring your fears, phobias, and anything that may stand in the way of confidence. Come prepared to leave your baggage behind!

Your coach is Laura Giles, licensed therapist and Richmond Film Network member. This is a free and open group workshop that will be conducted via Zoom on Sunday, December 11 at 3 p.m. Registration is required in order to receive attendance credentials.
