Cinema Collective #2

  • Harry's Library at the Hof 2818 W. Broad Street Richmond VA 23230 (map)

Welcome to Cinema Collective, where you come for motivation, connection and to elevate your project with support every step of the way.

Cinema Collective is Richmond Film Network’s monthly workshop that is designed to bring together filmmakers and film-adjacent creatives across all disciplines—directors, writers, producers, editors, actors, composers, designers, and more. It’s a space to connect, exchange ideas, and spark meaningful collaborations in a structured yet welcoming environment.

This month's Cinema Collective features table reads of two shorts scripts written by Anson Kessinger:

"The Rocket's Red Glare," featuring actors Crüjen Geist, Emily Gerber, and Salimah Ismail, and

"Mr. Rogers Goes to Amsterdam," featuring actors Louis Rivers, Nicole Shifflett, Nena Daniels, and Montrece Hill

Cinema Collective is curated by Richmond Film Network members. Whether you’re looking to share knowledge, workshop an idea, gain feedback, or simply stay accountable to your creative goals, Cinema Collective is a place to show up, speak up, and move your work forward—together.
