Best of RVA 48 Hour Horror Film Project

  • Bow Tie Movieland at Boulevard Square 1301 North Arthur Ashe Boulevard Richmond, VA, 23230 United States (map)

Filmmakers from the Richmond area raced to make a horror film in just 48 hours, and you can see the best of them here!

The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is the world's largest timed film competition, and it has returned to Richmond as a part of the 2024 international tour. One film will be chosen by a panel of film professionals as the "Best 48HFP Horror Film of Richmond" and that film will move on to screen at Filmapalooza in Seattle, Washington in March 2025, and even get a shot at a screening in next year's Cannes Film Festival Short Film Corner! A runner-up and awards in numerous other categories will also be presented immediately after the screenings.

Tickets are available for purchase for $12 online through Saturday, November 2, or day of show, for $15, cash or card.
