RVA 48HFP Best of Richmond Top 10 & Awards

Filmmakers from the Richmond area raced to make a film in just 48 hours, and you can see the best of them in the Best of Richmond Screenings!

The 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) is the world's largest timed film competition, and it has returned to Richmond as a part of the 2022 international tour. One film will be chosen by a panel of film professionals as the "Best 48HFP Film of Richmond" and that film will move on to screen at Filmapalooza, and even get a shot at a screening in next year's Cannes Film Festival! A runner-up and awards in numerous other categories will also be awarded immediately after the screenings. Congratulations to the following teams/films listed in screening order:

“The Escort “ by Inexplicable Productions, Noah Pescara

“Sunflower” by The Sun Room, Nathan Piskator
“Feed Me” by I’m Hungry, Andrew Huang
“Brad Chenson was Many Things” by Grape Soda Shortz, Leanne Burke
“Meet Ugly” by Rad*Ish Productions, Graham Barbour
“Clean Getaway” by Dadgum Productions, Noah SlateFilms are not rated and some may contain mature content or language.

Tickets will be available for purchase online in advance through July 22 for $10 each, or at the door for $15, cash only.
