Legacy at Imperial Village presents its Spring talent show featuring its very own residents! An entertaining time is guaranteed. Featured performances include:

  • H. Shropshire piano performance of “As I Travel Through This Pilgrim Land” by George Jones.

  • D. Stannard piano and vocal performances of “Lullaby of Birdland” by George Shearing and George David Weiss, and “The Naked Song.”

  • S. Kenny piano performance of “Prelude in C sharp Minor” by Sergei Rachmaninoff.

  • T. Bridges original published poetry recitations: “My Mysterious Life,” “Grandfather’s Bed,” “Time Like a Dream,” and “Soul on Fire.”

  • S. Coles poetry recitation of “I Met God in the Morning” by Ralph Spaulding Cushman.

  • J. Long vocal performance of “If I Can Dream” by Walter Earl Brown.

  • T. Payne vocal performance of “You’ll Never Walk Alone” by Rogers & Hammerstein.

  • Rising praise dance of “This is Amazing Grace” by Phil Wickham featuring Abigail, the dog.

  • K. Graham, J. McCoy and T. Miller present scenes from the movie 9 to 5 by Colin Higgins and Patricia Resnick.

Immediately following the performances, please vote for your favorite (1) and second favorite (2) performance, and submit your ballot for tabulation. While you wait for the results, enjoy a special performance by LIV’s own R. Milby, singing “Never Too Much” and “Any Love,” by Luther Vandross!

This is a free event taking place on campus in the Auditorium.
